“ Yes this Roast on Katherine Road, East London. The one and only, must visit food place that has eat-in option for 24 or you can do a takeaway. Parking nearby is free after 6:30pm. My favourites include:- Homemade 1/4 pounder Lamb Chops Lamb Donner The donner just takes different to anywhere else, full stop. The sauces are delicious, various drink options (more than the usual). Always busy, sign of a good place. Every time I eat here, I am thinking about the next time I am coming back. If you haven't had food here, you are missing out. Salim Patel ”

“ Recommended by my cousins and it didn’t disappoint. The grilled half chicken was really tasty and had a nice marinated layer on top, crispy and fresh and chopped into pieces making it easier to eat. It wouldn’t be enough if hungry on its own so best to get with something else. I went all out and decided to also get the steak box with chips. It was spiced with onions and ingredients which combined well to make it juicy and succulent. Would definitely come back here again, we all enjoyed it and they had other options. On a bank holiday it was quite busy but is well worth it didn’t have to wait long. The staff kept the tables clean and on a sunny day it was nice having the extension open. ”

Even though it was extremely busy and hectic, the cashier was patient and explained the entire menu to me. I couldn’t decide as everything on the menu sounded amazing! He knew I was visiting from Los Angeles so he recommended the platter. The mixed platter is the move!!! Every single thing on the platter was just amazing! I expected to eat only a little bit as the portions are huge! The food was so good I DEMOLISHED THAT PLATE! I was full, I couldn’t walk but then they came out with the milk cake. As you know, there’s always space for dessert. Milk cake with pistachio and rose. It’s the perfect combination. Not too sweet! I expected to be in debt for years after eating like a king in the UK but to my surprise, everything was super reasonably priced!!! TLDR: go here and eat. 10/10 ”
“ Came here with my friend thought might as well try it I drive past every so often and it's always busy. Came in my friend recommended me half grilled chicken boneless meal. Did not disappoint food was amazing. Their own marinate the chicken was soft and tender. Chips was nice, the boss man really sorted me out and made sure we enjoyed the food. Added chilli and garlic sauce made the food even more tasty. Will definitely come here again. Cleanliness not an issue good amount of seating too. ”
“ If you're from the area, you know Roast. I had the lamb chops meal, the chops were tender and well cooked. The chips were nice too. It is very difficult to find good lamb chops, especially for this price. Need to try other grilled items in the menu but definitely one of the best place to get a clean, cheap, tasty meal in Newham. ”
